2/22/22 falls on a Tuesday and what better way to celebrate such a UNIQUE once in a lifetime day then to celebrate the Women of the NFT space. Everyone celebrating this Special day to recognize women in the NFT space does so by wears a colorful tutu (This is open for male or female) and onboards more women into NFTs through curiosity over the Tutu movement that day! We want to onboard more women into the NFT space and make it an amazing, welcoming experience! So ladies get your tutus ready, find your tutu sisters and brothers, and let’s celebrate some amazing and talented women in NFTs!
The Women in NFTs day event was created To celebrate women in NFTs which is currently a male dominated space. We want to also use this is as a way to help onboard more women through knowledge, education and community. Sales of NFTs by women are currently about five percent of all NFTs sold, but the women representation in the space is also only about five percen. By celebrating women in NFTs, we hope to encourage more women to step forward, showcase their art, and successfully and safely navigate the space to be able to buy, sell, trade and flip NFTs.
The Women in NFTs day should be celebrated by wearing a colorful TUTU on Feb twenty second (2/22) each year. When asked about the TuTu, information should be shared about how to become involved in NFTs in a safe and secure manner. It’s also a way to just celebrate being a woman or non-binary in NFTs and have a day to celebrate our uniqueness and our ability to successfully navigate the space. The women’s NFT community is a beautiful place to make new friends and we feel that wearing a colorful tutu on this day, can bring more women together.
